Show Guide
Perfect Couples follows three flawed pairs trying to get it right. Dave (Kyle Bornheimer, Worst Week) and Julia (Christine Woods, Flash Forward) are the "everyday couple," messed up in all the "normal" ways. Dave struggles to keep both his wife and his needy best friend, Vance (David Walton, 100 Questions) happy. Vance and the volatile Amy (Mary Elizabeth Ellis, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia) are the high-passion, high-drama couple who bring out the best and worst in each other. The third duo is Rex (Hayes MacArthur, She’s Out of My League) and Leigh (Olivia Munn, Attack of the Show, The Daily Show). Rex is a reformed party guy who has channeled his jock energy into a competitive drive to be the ideal mate. Leigh, a self-anointed relationship guru, has formed the perfect union with Rex, and now considers it her duty to mould the other couples in their image.

Episode 1
Pilot
When Dave (Kyle Bornheimer) and Julia’s (Christine Woods) plans for the perfect anniversary fall through, Rex (Hayes MacArthur) and Leigh (Olivia Munn) gear up for game night instead. Vance (David Walton) and Amy (Mary Elizabeth Ellis) break up and make up again.

Perfect Proposal
Vance and Amy return from their engagement trip to Paris, but Dave is unsure they’re making the right decision. Meanwhile, Rex tries to convince Dave to buy a new car. Amy makes outrageous demands of her maid of honor Julia and Leigh takes the reins as wedding planner.

Episode 3
Perfect Health
After discovering that Dave has high cholesterol, Julia puts him on a strict diet and realises it’s time to start acting like adults. Vance tries to curb Amy’s outrageous spending. Rex takes Leigh’s suggestion of building a man cave where there are no rules and no judgments.

Perfect Tens
After Dave is disappointed that Julia dresses down for him, they both decide to be “perfect 10s” and live it up with a night out. An infestation of bed bugs misleads Amy into thinking that Vance is not ready to commit to her. Rex and Leigh plan an Italian vacation and struggle trying to adjust to the time difference.

Perfect Jealousy
After Julia is upset that Dave has met a woman while hiking, Dave becomes jealous when Julia thinks her co-worker is funny. Rex has a difficult time telling Leigh that he’s in financial trouble. Vance and Amy try to make each other jealous.

Episode 6
Perfect Crime
Dave becomes obsessed with gender roles after attending Rex and Leigh’s “Mad Men” party, so Julia tries to make him feel more like a man. After Leigh’s shrimp rolls give everyone food poisoning, Vance and Amy argue about her job as the wedding planner. Rex tries to start a prank war.

Episode 7
Perfect House
When Leigh’s injuries prevent her from participating in a doubles tennis tournament with Rex, Julia steps in as her replacement. Dave, Vance and Isabella set up shop in one of the houses they’re selling until Amy spoils the fun.

Episode 8
Perfect Job
Julia gets jealous when Dave hits it off with her co-workers. Vance beats Rex at a game of miniature pool and refuses a rematch. Leigh makes a career plan for Amy and becomes “Amy’s wife.”

Perfect Pants
Amy hates Vance's new trousers and as a result her refuses to remove them. Meanwhile, when a position opens up for the new Homeowners’ Association President, Rex kicks off his political aspirations by going for the job.

Perfect Daughter
Six months on from her death, Rex and Julia go through their mother's things to split but come to blows when they must decide who gets the grand piano. Meanwhile, Vance worries about his looks.

Perfect Lies
Julia plans a quiet bachelorette party for Amy in Vancouver, however Amy has failed to tell her childhood friend that Julia is the maid of honor. At the bachelor party, Vance hopes to have a special moment with his friends while Dave tries to impress the guys with his camping skills. Rex and Leigh can’t bear to spend one night apart.

Perfect Exes
After finding out that Amy has invited all of her ex-boyfriends to their wedding, Vance bonds with them but worries that he will become one of them. Rex finds out that Leigh keeps a file of her ex-boyfriends and is anxious to see it. Dave and Julia tie up some loose ends as they help prepare for Vance and Amy’s wedding.

Perfect Wedding
Leigh takes charge of the day as wedding planner as Vance and Amy struggle with cold feet. Dave and Julia argue about their toasts to the happy couple. Rex will stop at nothing to be a part of the wedding.

Dave
Kyle Bornheimer plays Dave, one half of the "everyday couple.” Kyle’s acting credits include; starring opposite Alyssa Milano in the series Romantically Challenged, Chuck, How I Met Your Mother, The Office, Monk, Weeds, Breaking Bad and Blades of Glory. Bornheimer moved to Los Angeles from his hometown in South Bend, Indiana. He began his acting career working in commercials and gained attention for his comedic performances in popular spots making him a familiar face on the small screen and in 2007 Entertainment Weekly proclaimed him the “Half-Minute Man." Bornheimer currently lives in Los Angeles with his wife and two sons.

Amy
Mary Elizabeth Ellis plays Amy, one half of the high-passion couple. Upon graduation from university, Ellis moved to Los Angeles where she studied and performed improvisation and sketch at the infamous Upright Citizen’s Brigade Theatre. At the same time, she booked guest-starring roles on shows such as Reno 911, House and Cold Case. Ellis is best known for her hysterical recurring role as the waitress on the hit cable show It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, which she began working on during its infancy five seasons ago.In addition to acting and writing, Ellis also loves drawing. She currently resides in Los Angeles with her husband and dog.

Rex
Hayes MacArthur plays Rex, one half of the couple that strives to be perfect. MacArthur recently starred in the feature film Life As We Know It, starring Katherine Heigl and Josh Duhamel, and comedy She’s Out of my League opposite Jay Baruchel. MacArthur’s additional television credits include guest starring on How I Met Your Mother, Pushing Daisies and Entourage.

Leigh
Olivia Munn plays Leigh, Rex’s “perfect” wife. Munn has all the makings of a star on the rise: allure, humor, depth, beauty, and, of course, serious talent. She can currently be seen as the newest correspondent on Comedy Central’s Emmy-winning The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. Munn first made Hollywood take notice when she became the host of Attack of the Show. Munn also has an extremely popular website, OliviaMunn.com, where she posts original videos, superhero sketches, fan contests and her general musings on the world around her. Raised between Oklahoma and Tokyo, Japan, Munn now splits her time between Los Angeles and New York.

Vance
David Walton plays Vance, Amy’s long-suffering boyfriend. Walton, a Boston native, began acting at an early age, performing in high school plays before training as an actor at Brown University. He has starred in the series Cracking Up, alongside Molly Shannon, The Loop, Quarterlife and 100 Questions. During his down time, Walton is a golf aficionado and currently resides in the Los Angeles area.

Julia
Christine Woods stars as Julia, Dave’s “normal wife." Most recently, Woods starred in FlashForward as FBI agent Janis Hawk. She has also had guest appearances on In Plain Sight, NCIS, House and How I Met Your Mother. Woods is a California native from Lake Forest in Orange County. She studied musical theatre at the University of Arizona.
