When three fabulous LA women of a certain age (played by Valerie Bertinelli, Jane Leeves and Wendie Malick) took an unplanned detour and discovered Cleveland they never thought they would be turning back the clock and taking back the spotlight! With their newfound attention they decided to stay and ended up in a house with Elka, the feisty caretaker (played by Betty White) who offers the Midwest perspective. But reinventing yourself doesn't happen overnight. In the brand new season of Hot In Cleveland, Victoria, Melanie and Joy continue to rediscover themselves and see that their LA ways don't always play in the real world.

Episode 1
Free Elka
When Elka finds herself behind bars and sharing her cell with a very familiar face (Mary Tyler Moore) the other ladies try to raise bail money, but are faced with issues of their own. Meanwhile, Joy gets a letter from the Immigration Department and a surprise proposal from a neighbour (Wayne Knight), Melanie's cop boyfriend keeps arresting her friends and Victoria realises that money is everything when she loses her fortune.

When Melanie meets her boyfriend's family, she finds two big obstacles, his mother (Bonnie Franklin) and his brother (John Schneider). Meanwhile, Joy's green card scam with neighbour Rick (Wayne Knight) goes awry, Victoria dates an ancient billionaire and Elka goes on a 24-hour bender.

Hot For Lawyer
Melanie, Joy and Victoria compete for the affection of Elka's extremely attractive new lawyer. The lawyer's plan is for Elka to act crazy at a competency hearing in front of the judge (Sherri Shepherd), so she'll be ruled incompetent to stand trial. However, Elka's heart isn't in it after she learns Max (Carl Reiner) is getting married.

Sisterhood of the Travelling Spanx
A pair of ‘magic SPANX’ come into the ladies' lives and leads them to unexpected adventures. Joy seeks love, but ends up with a much, much younger man. Melanie wants to catch the eye of a doctor (Jack Wagner) and ends up with all eyes on her. Victoria dons the SPANX for a big audition, but ends up in a major catfight with actress, Melanie Griffith. Elka just wants her team, the Cleveland Indians, to win and has an enhancement idea for hunky Grady Sizemore

I Love Lucci: Part 1
The ladies return to L.A for the first time since moving to Cleveland. Victoria is appearing on All My Children but her rivalry with Susan Lucci (playing herself) brings disaster. Meanwhile, Melanie facesselling the house she’s raised her kids in, Joy might be dating an actor who has an evil twin (Michael E.Knight), and Elka’s on a quest to meet the movie star of her dreams.Watch out for Jimmy Kimmel.

I Love Lucci: Part. 2
Victoria, after injuring Susan Lucci (playing herself), prepares to carry on with her role on All My Children. Joy seeks revenge on the actor she was dating (Michael E. Knight) who pretended to be his own evil twin. Melanie finally agrees to sell her Los Angeles home, barring one crucial piece. Elka’s quest for the movie star of her dreams results in a surprise meeting.

Joy meets a wonderful guy in the waiting room of her therapist then steals his file to learn more about him. Meanwhile, Elka tries to train a rescue dog and Victoria tries to jump-start her career by making a sex tape...with Melanie.

Melanie dates a basketball coach for the Cavaliers who still isn’t over LeBron James leaving Cleveland. Meanwhile, Victoria takes a job as a local news personality and in a last ditch effort to get her green card, Joy gets engaged to a homeless man (Jon Lovitz).

Elka's Snowbird
Elka tries to convince Max (Carl Reiner), who is pining to fly to Florida, that she can keep him warm in the cold, Cleveland winter. Melanie, looking to do some meaningful charity work, enlists Joy to help her cook and serve healthy meals at the Senior Center with disastrous results. Meanwhile, Victoria falls hard for a man (Gregory Harrison) she meets during an ‘Oh Hi, Ohio’ interview, only to be thwarted by his two children, who have decided to hate her.

Law & Elka
Elka's trial has come at last and after her lawyer fails to impress the judge (Sherri Shepherd), her only hope for a not guilty verdict involves some strategic jury tampering. Meanwhile, Joy is enmeshed in scandal when she does a favour for the First Lady of Ohio (Amy Sedaris). What will Elka's fate be?

Elka Ostrovsky
Old-school widower Elka Ostrovsky (Betty White, The Golden Girls) is the opinionated and outspoken caretaker who lives in the guest cottage of the Cleveland home that the L.A. ladies rent. Elka was born in Poland and made her way to America after she escaped from the Nazis. When her new houseguests arrive Elka quickly dissolves their diet of healthy and organic foods with a replacement of cheese fries. And it’s not long before Elka is back on the dating scene with her new housemates.

Joy Scroggs
Joy Scroggs (Jane Leeves, Frasier) has had an eventful life. She was engaged in her 20s and left at the altar, and had a baby at 15 but gave him up for adoption. Now in her 40s, Joy is judgmental and tells it like it is. She might come across as cynical and pessimistic, but deep down she is vulnerable and an utter romantic. Joy has a hard time getting along with caretaker Elka and the two have a mutual dislike towards one another, perhaps because they actually have a lot in common.

Victoria Chase
LA soap star Victoria Chase (Wendie Malick, Just Shoot Me!) loves to be the center of attention. For 27 years she played the role of Honor St. Raven on a recently cancelled daytime drama called Edge of Tomorrow. With five ex-husbands, three adopted children (she thought childbirth would ruin her figure) and one grandchild, Victoria can be delightfully vain. Although now in her 50s and still self-obsessed, she’s always there for her friends.

Melanie Moretti
Melanie Moretti (Valerie Bertinelli) is a 40something, recently divorced mother of two still reeling from the shock of her ex husband becoming engaged to a woman half her age. A successful author, Melanie is an eternal optimist and fiercely loyal to her friends. Together with Joy and Victoria, the women get to know Cleveland and the local men.
