A young teacher, Stacey Bess (Emily Van Camp, Brothers & Sisters), gets her first professional teaching job in 1988… but it’s not what she expected. Rather than a comfortable class, in the suburbs of Salt Lake City, Utah, she is assigned to the School With No Name, a classroom in a community homeless shelter. As she fights her own fears and prejudices, she begins to examine the lives of the underprivileged children she teaches. She finds a group of children and their parents that are all in need of hope and love.
